HR Administrator Support

Avocet Commercial Careers is seeking a skilled HR Administrator to provide support to the dynamic and fast-growing HR and People team in Plymouth. The successful candidate will work on an interim basis for up to 2 months, assisting with administrative tasks across the full HR function.
About the Role:
This HR Administrator position requires extensive administrative experience, preferably within HR/Recruitment, and the ability to start quickly. The role involves providing general support to HR team members, including data input and reporting, preparing and analyzing MI, and coordinating interviews with candidates. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment onboarding, offer documentation, and onboarding activities. They must also create new employee records and personnel files, deal with first-line enquiries in the HR mailbox, and support employees with wellbeing and policy implementation.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable administration or secretarial experience, preferably within a HR/People/Recruitment setting. They must possess excellent attention to detail, high levels of accuracy, and be highly organized with excellent planning and administration skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as being a good team player able to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, is required.
Working Arrangements:
Hybrid working is available, with the team based in Plymouth. The successful candidate will need to work at least 3 full days in the office. We offer a competitive salary range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
