Job Summary

The Monadnock Family Services organization is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Child Disability Specialist to join our team.

We are looking for an individual with a Master's degree in a mental health-related field and licensed or license-eligible in the State of New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a degree-related internship under the supervision of a qualified professional.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to identify suitable candidates for services provided by MFS. This involves developing and implementing effective intake practices, collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of therapeutic, rehabilitative, support, and community integration services.

In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and lead treatment groups tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients. You will also be responsible for conducting thorough assessments to determine client eligibility for MFS services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to identify suitable candidates for services.
  • Develop and implement effective intake practices.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead treatment groups.

Requirements:

  1. Masters Degree in a mental health-related field (psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, or related field from an accredited college or university).
  2. Licensed or licensed eligible in the State of New Hampshire (LICSW, LMFT, LCMHC).
  3. At least one year of experience in a degree-related internship under the supervision of a qualified professional.
