Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be responsible for leading an alternative provision room and supporting students with Behaviour Needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead an alternative provision room to support students with Behaviour Needs.
  • Develop and implement a learning programme that meets the social, emotional, and academic needs of students.
  • Work with the Alternative Provision Leaders to develop a curriculum that supports students' academic and social progress.
  • Contribute to the raising of the achievement of students with Behaviour Needs.
  • Ensure all students have access to the curriculum and receive support to meet their targets.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children with Behaviour Needs.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage students to meet their targets.
  • Ability to write brief reports and keep records.
  • Understanding of the practical application of Equal Opportunities in an educational context.
  • Ability to converse at ease with parents and students and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
