Haematology Oncology Consultant Opportunity

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Haematology Oncology Consultant to join their team at the Barts Cancer Centre. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide inpatient and outpatient services to patients with haematological malignancies, including acute and chronic leukaemias, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and related illnesses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in professional medical responsibilities, training junior medical staff, and contributing to the clinical research portfolio. You will also be expected to develop relationships within the Trust and other partner hospitals, both locally and in the referring area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care for patients with haematological malignancies, including inpatients and outpatients
  • Participate in the Trust's clinical governance activities and encourage improvements in the quality and standards of clinical services
  • Provide clinical leadership in Haemato-oncology within Barts Health NHS Trust
