Job Title: Logistics Operator

The primary objective of this role is to proficiently manage and transport goods while adhering to safety protocols, quality standards, and legal regulations to enhance organizational profitability.

This is a full-time position at DSV Road - Raunds, ensuring a 48-hour workweek that includes day, night, and occasional weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently load and transfer goods onto transport vehicles, ensuring proper storage, packing, and securing of items.
  • Organize cargo within vehicles to minimize the risk of damage during transit.
  • Safely unload goods in accordance with client specifications.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation.
  • Comply with regulations, particularly regarding the handling of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain effective communication with the office regarding any delays or issues encountered.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
  • Operate vehicles in a responsible manner, adhering to all legal requirements.
  • Ensure that the company operates within established procedures and maintains a safe working environment.
