Job Description:

The position of SEN Teacher is available at Academics LTD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive learning environment for primary-aged children with severe and complex learning, social and communication difficulties, which may include physical disability.

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher who can deliver therapies such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, speech and language therapies where these are part of a young person's individualized education plan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality teaching and support to students with special educational needs
- Work closely with other professionals, including therapists and support staff, to develop and implement personalized plans for each student
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies governing special education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
