Inventory Control Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Co-ordinator to join our team at Precon Products Ltd. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing stock levels, optimising stock control processes, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain good working relationships with new and existing suppliers.
2. Develop a thorough understanding of procurement administration duties and product maintenance.
3. Analyse stocks across all depots to assist Buyers with ensuring stock availability and adequate stock levels.
4. Work closely with Transport and Buyers to successfully organise and schedule transfers of goods between depots to prevent stock outs.
5. Analyse sales data to make stocking recommendations to other areas of the business.
6. Gain an understanding of the processes involved with importing products.
7. Expedite outstanding orders and part received orders for both UK purchases and imports.
8. Implement and improve processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Candidate should have strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience in inventory management is preferred but not required.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
