Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Durateam Environmental. As a key member of our maintenance delivery model, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of operational assets across various sites.

In this role, you will work closely with other disciplines within a mobile field team to diagnose faults, conduct repairs, and maintain assets. You will utilize your expertise in electrical systems, control, and process systems to minimize risk and impact on customers.

Responsibilities
  • Asset Preservation: Identify assets in need of repair, prevent future faults and breakdowns, and implement permanent solutions through planned maintenance.
  • Electrical System Support: Provide expert support in diagnosing faults and conducting repairs across operational sites, including asset control, electrical systems, and automation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other disciplines within the mobile field team and maintain open communication with all personnel affected by your work.
  • Documentation and Planning: Create or update site engineering documentation that facilitates operational functions and plan, prioritize, and execute work to meet the requirements of the maintenance delivery model and operations team.
  • Compliance and Training: Adhere to current ISO and health and safety systems, procedures, and policies at all times and undergo necessary training to enhance technical skills and maintain up-to-date awareness of health and safety practices.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Completion of a time-served apprenticeship supported by relevant formal qualifications such as City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC/HND.
  • Certifications: Compliance with current IEE Regs 18th Edition and City & Guilds Inspect and Test 2391-10 certification.
  • Driving License: A valid UK driving license is required.
Working Conditions
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, no less than 45 hours per week.
  • Salary Range: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
