Job Title: Construction Site Inspector

Maxim Recruitment is seeking a skilled Construction Site Inspector to join their team in the UK. This exciting opportunity involves inspecting and reporting on construction sites, ensuring that they meet high standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To inspect and report on construction sites across Cambridgeshire, providing expert analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • To work closely with social housing clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that construction quality meets expectations.
  • To manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing effective time management strategies to achieve efficient working practices.
  • To provide timely and accurate reports to the Administration team, including photographs and site inspection details.
  • To maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • A knowledgeable construction professional with experience in a similar role, such as Clerk of Works or Building Control/Warranty Inspector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of building regulations and technical drawings.
  • Experience with social housing organizations, consultancies, or building contractors/housebuilders is highly desirable.
