About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Educational Psychologist to join our team at Warwickshire County Council. As a key member of our Educational Psychology Service (EPS), you will play a crucial role in improving outcomes for children, young people, and families across the county.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in a supportive, flexible, responsive, and ethically driven environment. You will have the chance to work in partnership with EP colleagues and others on a range of projects of interest, and contribute to the development of innovative ways of delivering support to parents/carers, children/young people, schools, and other settings.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Improving outcomes for children, young people, and families through individual, group, and system level activity;
  • Working collaboratively with schools, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective interventions;
  • Conducting assessments, developing reports, and providing recommendations to support children and young people's learning and well-being;
  • Contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and practices that promote inclusive and equitable education;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on progress as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Educational Psychology or a related field;
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Educational Psychologist;
  • Proven experience of working with children, young people, and families in an educational setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • An enhanced DBS check.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is circa £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a generous pension scheme, agile working arrangements, and access to a range of benefits and discounts platform.
