**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Autism Specialist to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be working with adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

**About the Role**

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist diagnostic assessment and intervention to children and young people with ASD and ADHD. You will also contribute to service development, including developing care pathways for adults with autism.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide feedback assessment outcomes verbally and in writing to children, young people, and their support systems* Offer supervision and training to the team and partner agencies* Contribute to service development, including developing care pathways for adults with autism* Develop and deliver specialized training packages with respect to adults with autism, for parents, carers, other professional groups, and speech and language therapists

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

* Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Therapy, or equivalent* RCSLT Certificate to Practice as a Speech and Language Therapist* Current registration with the Health Professions Council* Substantial specialist experience of a range of clinical protocols in managing children/adults with autism* Proven clinical competence in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of children/adults with autism*

**Benefits**
