About the Job

The Clinical Child Psychologist will be responsible for delivering high-quality specialist services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to local reconfiguration discussions to shape the role of psychology in new service models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice, with post-doctoral training in specialized areas of psychological practice. They will also have experience in psychological assessment, intervention, and management, with a proven track record of delivering effective care to patients across various settings. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex information effectively to patients, families, carers, and other professional colleagues.

The Clinical Child Psychologist will be a key member of our Clinical Health Psychology Department, contributing to strategic oversight of the implementation, evaluation, and measurement of the Long COVID psychology service. They will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced colleagues, share knowledge, and learn from each other's expertise. With a salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing department and contribute to the development of our services.
