About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Event Support Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of conferences and events at our stunning listed manor house venue.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the Night Duty Manager in maintaining the highest standards of guest experience and facility management. This will involve setting up and tidying training and syndicate rooms, installing and checking audio-visual equipment, and delivering client materials.

You will also be responsible for conducting nightly security checks, cleaning public areas, and reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service, handling late arrivals, check-ins, and responding to guest queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and tidy training and syndicate rooms to meet customer requirements
  • Install and check audio-visual equipment and deliver client materials
  • Conduct nightly security checks and report any issues
  • Clean public areas, including corridors, stairs, toilets, and meeting rooms
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling late arrivals, check-ins, and resolving guest queries
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need good attention to detail, strong IT skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will also require basic first aid training and the ability to deal with fire or other emergencies.
