About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Adult Social Care Specialist. This role will involve providing specialist support to individuals with complex care needs, working closely with our Assessment and Treatment Service and Discharge Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to staff on proportionate and personalised responses to service users and their carers.
  • Help embed consideration of strengths and relationship-based practice in all assessment processes.
  • Provide a specialist view and/or intervention in the assessment and management of risk.
  • Provide professional supervision to members of staff.

Requirements:

  • Confidence in knowledge and experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and the assessment of risk.
  • Understanding of the importance of information and advice in supporting people to maintain their own independence and well-being.

Salary: £38,090 - £40,775 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

Benefits: Regular supervision and support, opportunities for ongoing development and specialist training.
