Mechanical Field Service Engineer for MRI Imaging

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites and assembling magnets for MRI imaging systems, carrying out part installation of the superconducting magnet, conducting annual servicing, and handling cryogens - liquid nitrogen and liquid helium.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble magnets for MRI imaging systems at customer sites
  • Install parts of the superconducting magnet
  • Perform annual servicing of MRI equipment
  • Handle cryogens, including liquid nitrogen and liquid helium
  • Travel to customer sites and stay away from home for two to three nights per month
Requirements:
  • Good mechanical service and repair skills
  • Previous experience in a field service, assembly, or installation role
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel
  • Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial
