About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist to join our team at Luminous. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts and providing administrative support to our HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional networks, and internal referrals.
    • Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for various positions across our teams.
    • Review resumes and applications, and schedule interviews with candidates and team members.
    • Manage our applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate information and recruitment activity.
    • Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates.
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their team's needs and provide regular updates on the recruitment process.
    • Assist in preparing job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
    • Provide a positive candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and a warm welcome to Luminous.
    • Provide constructive feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
    • Conduct initial screening calls with potential candidates to ensure a great first impression of Luminous.
  • Human Resources Support:
    • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR function and provide ongoing support to the HR Manager.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on our HR information system.
    • Coordinate HR projects, including meetings, training, and surveys.
    • Assist in payroll preparation by uploading payslips on our HRIS.
    • Assist in preparing HR reports by collecting relevant data.
    • Act as a culture ambassador for Luminous, promoting our values and employer brand.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in your role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous experience in a Junior Talent Acquisition or administrative assistant role is desired but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree is desired but not essential.
  • Previous experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter is desired but not essential.
