Salary
A competitive salary of £14.55 per hour (minimum) and £16.97 per hour (maximum), comprising a pay rate and indicative holiday pay, is offered to successful candidates.

Job Description
As an Event Security Specialist with Showsec, you will be responsible for performing pre and post-event checks, assisting with safe and effective ingress, egress, and queue management, and effectively managing conflict and complete safe, lawful ejections. You will also be required to check passes, accreditation, and ticket checks, conduct effective patrols of the site or venue, respond to incidents, emergencies, and preserve crime scenes, monitor spectators for signs of distress, overcrowding, and inappropriate behavior, and report these to the on-shift supervisor. Additionally, you will be expected to enforce venue policies and procedures, understand and effectively apply relevant law and legislation to the role, ensure fire exits and evacuation routes are always kept clear, and adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a valid in-date SIA Door Supervisor licence and be at least 18 years old. Successful candidates will undergo pre-engagement checks, training, and screening in line with BS7858 standards.
