About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist support role. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support due to identified behaviour, SEMH, SEN, and ASD needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work one-to-one with pupils in the classroom, specialist mentoring sessions, and during break times to provide individualized support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the school's SENCO and senior management team, as well as external agencies, including therapists, healthcare professionals, and CAMHS, to ensure comprehensive support for pupils.
  • Develop and implement suitable interventions and approaches to support pupils with challenging behaviour, under the guidance of the school's training programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs) to ensure pupils receive tailored support.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Have experience working in CAMHS or child mental health services.
  • Be passionate about supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs.
