Deputy General Manager

We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at Heartwood Collection. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of our restaurants, ensuring that our high standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in the overall management of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, and financial management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement training programs for staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that the restaurant operates within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring that we receive the best possible products and services.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior management role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
