Education Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide support to students with special educational needs in Northampton. As an education support worker, you will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure that each student receives the necessary assistance to reach their full potential.

About the Role

This is a flexible position that requires someone with energy, drive, and enthusiasm. You will need to possess good interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a team, and use your initiative to support learning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or young people, although this is not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.
  • Liaise with teaching staff and parents/guardians to ensure the individual needs of pupils are being met.
  • Support the classroom teacher in meeting the differing needs of children in the classroom.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, at level 2 or above.
