Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special needs school in Northampton. As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teacher and providing nurture and education to school-aged children with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the teacher in delivering educational programs
- Assisting students with SEND or working in a care setting
- Providing individualized support to students with varying needs
- Collaborating with the teaching team to develop and implement lesson plans
Requirements
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs or in a care setting
- Passion for the progress of SEND pupils
- Ability to work as part of a team
