About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Kensington and Chelsea Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to teachers and pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that pupils receive the best possible education.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Support the development of pupils' literacy and numeracy skills, as well as their social and emotional well-being.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the school, working closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to achieve our goals.
Requirements
  • Meet Higher Level Teaching Assistant standards or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Excellent Numeracy/Literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths.
  • Training in relevant learning strategies, such as literacy.
  • A proven ability to work in a team and on your own initiative.
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
  • The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
  • A can-do attitude and a commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem, and progress of everyone at the school.
