Reception Teaching Assistant Role

A reputable school in the borough of Hillingdon is seeking a Teaching Assistant for their Reception class to join them from the next academic term.

Responsibilities:

A teaching assistant in a reception class provides a high level of support to children, ensuring they receive the best possible education.

The role may involve:

  • Preparing the classroom for lessons
  • Listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories
  • Providing extra support to children who need it to complete tasks
  • Assisting teachers in planning learning activities and recording progress

The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday, between 8am and 4pm, for the full academic year.

They must be willing to undergo mandatory training provided by the agency or school, which may be conducted on teacher training days or during half-terms.

A valid Child DBS is a requirement for this role.

Experience in education is desirable and may be beneficial in securing the position.
