Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Achilles Group Limited. As a key member of our Finance function, you will play a critical role in supporting our business leaders with financial insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the preparation of monthly board and lender reporting, including analysis of variances and re-forecasting future periods.
  2. Assist with the annual budgeting cycle, gathering data from multiple sources to identify trends for KPIs, sales, and costs.
  3. Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to develop and maintain financial models, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  4. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leaders, using data visualization tools to communicate complex information effectively.
  5. Scope to act as a business partner to senior leaders, supporting them in managing their budgets and making informed business decisions.
Requirements
  1. Strong academic background with a numerate degree from a top university (Russell Group).
  2. Previous experience in financial analysis, accounting, and/or business analytics is advantageous.
  3. High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely financial information.
  4. Intellectual curiosity and a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  5. Proficiency in Excel and experience with PowerBI/financial planning software (e.g. WorkDay) is helpful but not essential.
