Role: Senior Radiographer – CT & General
Location: The Wellington Hospital, London
Work Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift Patterns: 4 or 5 day working patterns available. Service open between 08:00 and 20:00 plus on-call participation
Contract Type: Permanent
Estimated Salary: Up to £51,000 dependent upon experience (with excellent benefits)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Radiographer to join our dynamic CT and Plain Film team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated as one of the best in the country.

The Wellington Hospital is a leading independent hospital with over 260 beds and 1000 employees. We have an international reputation for excellence in complex healthcare and have gained decades of expertise in treating patients from the UK and overseas.

Our top-of-the-line CT scanners are capable of delivering exceptional image quality with reduced scanning times and minimal radiation doses. With CT scans, we can aid in the diagnosis of inflammation, diseases, and cancer, as well as monitor various health conditions such as those affecting the brain, internal organs, soft tissues, joints, and bones.

As a Senior Radiographer, you will provide high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients and service users while rotating throughout the CT and Plain Film department as required. You will work closely with radiologists and consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways. You will identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager. You will also assist with staff orientation and training.

  • Extensive CT experience gained post-graduation, ideally in the UK.
  • High level of understanding with regards to clinical governance and protocols relating to MRI, CT, and Plain Film scanning.
