About the RoleThe successful candidate will work 1:1 with a Year 2 pupil who requires additional support due to multiple medical needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEND teaching assistant to make a positive impact on a child's school day.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the pupil's mobility and independence within the school environment
- Providing learning support and adapting activities to meet the pupil's individual needs
- Administering medication, tube feeds, and providing personal care as required
- Showcasing strong pastoral and emotional support, being vigilant to the pupil's cues, and demonstrating flexibility in responding to changing needs
To be successful in this role, you will possess experience working with children with medical needs, a passion for supporting pupils with complex requirements, and excellent communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will receive training in first aid, medication administration, and other essential skills.
Salary and BenefitsThis exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of approximately £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
