Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and create original and innovative vehicle styling design concepts from initial sketch to final product.
  2. Closely collaborate with directors to refine designs based on feedback and project requirements.
  3. Assist in creating high-quality digital renderings, CAD models, and 3D prototypes using software such as Blender.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new vehicle releases, materials, and technologies.
  5. Present design ideas and proposals in team meetings and design reviews.
  6. E nsure all designs comply with safety standards, ergonomic principles, and regulatory guidelines.
  7. Work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and production to align design outcomes with project goals.
  8. Participate in user research and testing to understand customer needs and integrate user feedback into design solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant degree or proven experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, concept sketches, and digital renderings (required).
  3. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk Alias, Rhino, or similar CAD tools.
  4. Knowledge of 3D visualization software (e.g., VRED, Blender) is a plus.
  5. Basic understanding of vehicle engineering principles and the automotive manufacturing process.
  6. Excellent sketching, drawing, and visualization skills.
  7. Creative thinker with the ability to bring unique and innovative ideas to the table.
  8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  9. Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate designs accordingly.
  10. Attention to detail and a passion for the automotive sector.
