Randox Laboratories, a leading international company operating in over 145 countries, is seeking a talented Graduate Buyer to join its Purchasing Department. As a Graduate Buyer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the company by sourcing and acquiring goods and services.
Job Summary:The Graduate Buyer will be responsible for undertaking efficient acquisition and procurement of goods and services, ensuring that all orders are placed and received on time in accordance with standard procedures and departmental requirements. This role involves preparation and placement of supplier orders, sourcing of potential new suppliers, and maintenance of accurate purchasing records.
Key Responsibilities:- Procure goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods
- Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and negotiate prices
- Prepare and place supplier orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, including invoices and receipts
- Ensure all incoming goods are delivered on time and in good condition
- Qualified to degree level in Life Science or Business-related courses
- Awareness of principles of lean manufacturing
- Willingness to travel, meeting suppliers and customers
- UK Driving license
- Eligibility to work within the UK
