Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant at a specialist school near Bishop's Stortford.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity (8:30am - 3:30pm) that requires no prior school experience. We welcome graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers, and individuals with personal experience in working with children with special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with Moderate to Severe Learning Disabilities (MLD and SLD) in small groups or one-to-one basis to enhance engagement, interaction, and attainment.
- Develop and learn LSA skills through ongoing training and professional development.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in support provided at school and home.
- Employ a friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, building strong relationships with individual children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent at a later date.
