We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist in the HMPPS North East Regional Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the PS Division, including absence management recording, vetting administration, and appraisal recording.
- Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of computerized and manual records.
- Work closely with the local senior management team to ensure consistent processes are used within the local Probation teams.
- Administer room bookings, meetings, and events, and respond to external and internal telephone enquiries and personal callers.
- Handle printing requests, circulate alert office notifications, and use keyboard skills to produce and present documentation effectively.
- Record, supply, and retrieve accurate data from computerized systems and provide management information to strict deadlines.
- Organize and store efficiently paper-based information, and deal with sensitive and confidential data in accordance with data protection requirements.
Requirements:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in keyboard skills and ability to use computerized systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
