Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

At Realtime Recruitment, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing a DevOps culture and creating a cutting-edge CI/CD solution to enable fully automated on-premise and cloud-based build and deployment pipelines with IaC capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor team members in DevOps practices, ensuring a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide DevOps tools and expertise to software development teams across the enterprise, driving process automation and efficiency.
  • Develop a standardized CI/CD pipeline with built-in quality gates, security, and cutting-edge tools and automation, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Drive process automation to eliminate manual steps in application build and deployment, integrating compliance and quality gates.
  • Guide technical teams on operational, technical, and procedural best practices, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Advocate for a fully automated product build and release process, driving a push-button deploy mentality and reducing time-to-market.
  • Collaborate with program teams to understand their product development needs and guide them in adopting DevOps principles, tools, and frameworks.
  • Have deep knowledge of cloud services and experience with large-scale production deployments on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud GCP.
  • Manage production system build, release, and configuration, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience designing, implementing CI/CD solutions, and DevOps practices.
  • 6+ years of cloud computing experience.
  • Version control: Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, and code branching principles.
  • Build and release: Proven experience with build and release processes and tools, including CI and deployment pipelines and hands-on knowledge of tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, GitHub, GitLab, SonarCube, Coverity, or similar.
  • Infrastructure as code: Strong experience with Terraform to create infrastructure as code.
  • Configuration as code: Strong experience with Ansible to create configuration as code.
