Job Description

We are seeking a Patient Care Porter to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas. This will involve ensuring that all surfaces are clean and dust-free, and that rubbish bins are regularly emptied and replaced.

You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and safe for patients, visitors, and staff. Your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures will be essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and maintaining wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, and public areas
  • Ensuring all surfaces are clean and dust-free
  • Emptying and replacing rubbish bins
  • Working closely with other members of the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You should also be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if required.

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for individuals who have a strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to learn and develop their skills.
