Electron Microscopy Service Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Mase Consulting Ltd. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining advanced electron microscopy equipment at customer sites across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission new electron microscopy equipment at customer sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration work on existing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with electron microscopy equipment.
- Liaise with customers to schedule service visits and provide technical support.
- Travel to customer sites to complete service visits, with occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Hands-on experience as a technician or service engineer working on SEM or TEM systems.
- A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A UK driving license and the right to work in the UK.
