Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician Role: As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conducting preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and providing high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate Subject Matter Expert (SME) levels of knowledge on all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in the building.
  • Coach and mentor technicians on shift.
  • Support the line manager and supervise the shift in their absence.
  • Support continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the EU network.
  • Understand OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and equipment performance metrics.
  • Manage contractors.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3.
  • Relevant experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English.
  • Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
