Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Tandem Talent. As a key member of our engineering practice, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex projects, working closely with our internal and external design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement structural design solutions for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with project leaders and team members to coordinate design efforts and ensure timely project delivery.
  3. Take ownership of specific areas of the design and project development, providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
  4. Liaise with external design teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, maintaining a high level of technical expertise.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A strong background in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on design and delivery.
  2. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in software such as GSA, ETABS, and MicroStation.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
  5. A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
