Job Title: Principal Consultant

RPS Group is seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant to join our Environmental Planning team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a range of EIA projects and providing expert advice on EIA regulations and processes.

About the Role

As a Principal Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop effective EIA strategies. You will be responsible for managing EIA projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards and meet the required regulatory requirements.

You will also be responsible for providing expert advice on EIA regulations and processes, including the EIA Directive and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations. You will work closely with our clients to ensure that their EIA projects are compliant with all relevant regulations and that they are able to make informed decisions about their projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage EIA projects from scoping to delivery
  • Provide expert advice on EIA regulations and processes
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective EIA strategies
  • Ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards and meet the required regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in environmental planning and EIA, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. You will also need to have a good understanding of EIA regulations and processes, including the EIA Directive and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations.

You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also need to have a strong attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines.
