About the Job:
We are looking for a highly skilled Planning and Acquisitions Specialist to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting mineral and industrial opportunities, securing planning permissions, and managing external consultant teams. If you have experience in property management with a focus on strategic land processes, we encourage you to apply.

Job Summary:
This role involves developing and implementing planning strategies, discussing development proposals with local authorities, and engaging with local communities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a Chartered or actively seeking to achieve chartered status through MRICS or MRTPI qualification. We offer a competitive salary of around £65,000 per annum, including benefits such as enhanced holiday entitlement, contributory pension scheme, and access to the Tarmac Reward website.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement planning strategies to achieve local plan allocation and/or planning consent.* Discuss development proposals with local planning authorities and stakeholders.* Engage with local communities and manage external consultant teams.* Submit planning appeals and manage the appeal process.* Assist in identifying new land opportunities and acquiring sites under option.* Provide professional advice on existing planning permissions.
