Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Design Engineer to join our team at Keltbray. As a Principal Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design process for our electrification projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design process for electrification projects, including the development of design specifications, technical reports, and other documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and commissioning, to ensure that design deliverables meet project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain design procedures and standards to ensure compliance with company quality and environmental procedures.
  • Manage and mentor a team of design engineers and technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality design work.
  • Ensure that all design work is completed in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their design needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in design engineering, with a strong understanding of electrification design principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of design engineers and technicians.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
