About the Role

Spencer & James Recruitment is seeking a skilled and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Responsive Repairs and Voids works projects within the social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Performance: Enhance project team performance by ensuring key contractual obligations and strategies are effectively executed and reviewed regularly.
  2. Cost Management: Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) and progress reports, ensuring efficient cost control and maximizing project value.
  3. Valuations & Cash Flow: Coordinate with stakeholders to agree on external valuations and manage cash flow to enhance project value.
  4. Final Accounts: Work alongside the Commercial Manager to finalize main and subcontract accounts.
Requirements
  1. 3+ years experience at a Main Contractor working on Void or Responsive projects.
