Rainbow Care Services is seeking a Care Support Professional to join our team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.

About the Role:

The Care Support Professional will provide personal care and support to individuals and families in their own homes, enabling them to live independently for as long as possible. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be culturally sensitive, and possess a caring nature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services in a sensitive and culturally appropriate manner
  • Assist with toileting, dressing, and feeding, as outlined in the service user's care plan
  • Create and maintain good communication with service users, including those with communication difficulties
  • Alert the Care Coordinator or Field Supervisor of any changes in the service user's condition or circumstances

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culturally sensitive and aware
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding
