Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Building Surveyor to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and develop your skills in building consultancy, project management, and quantity surveying.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate in Building Surveying to join a reputable and established construction consultancy. You will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of building consultancy services, including dilapidations, party wall matters, defect analysis, project management, contract administration, and writing specifications and schedules of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of building consultancy services, including dilapidations, party wall matters, defect analysis, project management, contract administration, and writing specifications and schedules of work.
  • Work closely with senior surveyors to develop and implement building consultancy strategies.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and information.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A good, recent degree in Building Surveying is essential.
  • Previous industry experience in Building Surveying is desirable.
  • Candidates must be based within commuting distance of Birmingham city centre.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
