We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Building Surveyor to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a Graduate / Assistant Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality building consultancy services to our clients.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced professional looking to take their career to the next level. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing building consultancy services to clients, including dilapidations, party wall matters, defect analysis, and project management.
  • Working closely with our experienced team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to identify defects and provide recommendations for repair and maintenance.
  • Preparing and submitting reports and specifications to clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good, recent degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  • Previous industry experience in Building Surveying, either through a placement year or a graduate role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
