Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Advisor to join our team at Belcan. As a Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for providing quality support to our projects, including quality assurance, quality control, and audit process.

The Role:

As a Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing quality-related advice and guidance to the project team
  • Capturing all quality-related data, such as audit findings, non-conformities, observations, and improvement opportunities
  • Conducting internal and external audits, in accordance with the published project audit programme, and producing reports on audit outcomes
  • Preparing and reviewing Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and supporting QA documentation
  • Liaising with Project Quality Control inspectors to ensure that all Hold Points/Witness Points are met in a compliant manner
  • Validating and implementing the effectiveness of Project corrective actions resulting from any NC or internal/external audits

Requirements:

  • Good engineering and QA/QC background
  • CQI Membership or looking towards accreditation
  • Recognised and current Internal Auditor qualification
  • Development of project QA documentation (Quality Plans, ITPs, etc.) and review of supplier QA documentation
  • Demonstrable, current knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems in a regulated environment such as construction, petrochemical, aerospace, etc.
  • Ability to understand and interpret ISO Management System Standards, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Good understanding of ISO 45001 & 14001
  • +5 years' experience working in a highly regulated industry (petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Aviation, Construction)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience/qualification in one or more of the following special processes: NDT, heat treatment, surface treatment, dimensional verification
  • Pipework, steelwork, and insulation knowledge
  • Detailed knowledge of related specifications (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, PED, etc.)
  • Travel to multiple sites
