Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Putney Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 2 years old
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities and experiences that meet the individual needs of each child
  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure a positive and safe environment for all children
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding policies
  • Contribute to the development of the nursery's curriculum and policies

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or Nursery Practitioner
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and safeguarding policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
