Job Description

Job Title: Senior Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controller to join our team on an interim basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for setting up and leading the accounting and finance function from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient accounting and finance processes and procedures
  • Lead the finance team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly accounts, cash control, and costing systems
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Finance Director and divisional management
  • Provide technical and managerial support to the finance team, including training and development
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a large corporate environment
  • Previous experience setting up a finance function from scratch
  • Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong technical and managerial skills, with a focus on finance and accounting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
