About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Classroom Support Professional to work on a temporary basis as a Cover Supervisor at a SEND school in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

Job Summary: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms and ensuring student safety and well-being during teacher absences. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in education and build your skills in classroom management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the absence of teaching staff
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Implement lesson plans and activities as directed by teachers
  • Encourage student engagement and participation
  • Monitor student behavior and report any incidents

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of classroom dynamics and be able to manage challenging behaviors. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
