Care Support Worker

The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team at The Manor House care home in Knaresborough. As a Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Assist residents with meals, snacks, and drinks, promoting healthy eating habits and hydration.
- Support residents with mobility and transfer requirements, using hoists and other equipment as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, working closely with the care team and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and report any changes or concerns to the care team and management.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Experience of working in a care environment, preferably in a residential setting.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and service delivery.
