About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Trustee Board as a Legal Trustee. As a key member of our governance team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of Strathclyde Students' Union and ensuring the organization's financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal expertise and guidance to the Trustee Board and senior management team
- Contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan and ensure alignment with its core purpose
- Oversee the implementation of governance and compliance policies and procedures
- Support the Chief Executive in ensuring the organization's financial sustainability and risk management
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in law and governance, who is passionate about supporting the development of Strathclyde Students' Union. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. As a Trustee, you will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to the organization's values and mission, and to contribute to the development of a diverse and inclusive Board.
