Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a 'good' 2 form entry school in Tottenham. This is a full-time position from September 2024 for the academic year.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Deliver RWI phonics sessions using the Ruth Miskin Phonics Method
  • Have experience working in KS1 classrooms
  • Work with SEN children as needed
  • Assess individual learning needs of pupils
  • Manage challenging behaviour positively
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • Supervise activities and work with teachers to develop individualized education plans
  • Work with children in small groups and one-to-one
