Job Title: Team Leader - Young Adult Residential Care

Join The Aurora Group, a leading provider of care services for young adults with severe and profound learning difficulties and complex health needs. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead our team of support workers and Senior Support Workers in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Manage and motivate the care team to maintain a stable, happy, and caring environment that prioritizes the health, safety, and welfare of residents.
  • Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate, and that all relevant policies and procedures are followed.
  • Participate in the induction of new team members and provide ongoing mentoring and development to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Carry out supervisions and deal with performance management issues within the team.
  • Take an active role in ensuring that activities are completed, and that day-to-day implementation of resident program plans is carried out efficiently with adequate cover available at all times.
  • Undertake sleeping-in duties and waking night duties, and participate in duty manager/on-call responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • QCF Level 3 in Adult Social Care
  • Shift/team leading experience
  • Superb communication skills
